A crazzzzzy fire just happened outside the accommodation. We thought we had burnt food, or the straighteners were burning but no….there were MASSES of flames out our window.
After about 10 mins of gorming out the window, we decided to go have a closer look….armed with cameras and looking like typical art students.
The police told us not to go close, however we found a way, climbing up mounds of rubble and such (sinking into it and getting covered in dust…greaaaat). So many people went to see it, was like a massive event.
The building exploded and its basically just a framework now. We want to go back and take more photos (geeeeeks much?!)
We decided to come back in when it was getting cold and now we have been told to close our windows due to toxic air. Hello asbestos.
I don’t think standing near it to take photos was such a wise idea anymore.
A catch up with my sister is always too few and far between. It seems like ages since we have had a proper catch up and it takes agesssss to do it. We sit listening to each other babble away and realise the restaurant is closing around us….move to a pub and the same happens again, only moving when we notice the shutters have gone down and we really should leave before we get locked in.
Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t let that happen because she is probably the best friend I’ll ever have.
